Steam and Cider Fair

Client: London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

On Saturday 30 June, The Steam and Cider Fair returned to Old Dagenham Park and saw over 5,000 local people enjoy classic cars, live entertainment, real ale and cider. It was a day of getting up close and personal to vintage steam engines and machinery, classic cars from all eras seeing some great classics in all their historical glory.

The ‘Thrills and Spills’ arena played host to the Moto Stunts International Motorcycle and Quad team, the Essex Dog Display team and Ferret World racing, their amazing skills and tricks were not to be missed

There was live music at the Cider Stage featuring all your favourite country and western rock and roll hits, wall about entertainment, stalls, fairground rides and workshops for all the family.

The fair also welcomed a host of farm animals to interact with as well as the Owl’s World falconry and horse and carriage rides.

CM Production Management worked alongside The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham for a number of weeks before the event, Providing a Production Manager and Production assistant, their roles were to plan the site infrastructure, event program and staffing including liaising with suppliers.
