Gaia has been exhibited around the world, including at the Natural History Museum, and in September 2021 Creative Barking and Dagenham worked along side Barking Riverside Limited to bring Gaia to the Sunken Garden at The Wilds Ecology Centre in the new Barking Riverside Estate. Gaia allows you to see our planet up close, floating in three dimensions. Gaia is currently suspended over the sunken garden at the Wilds Ecology Centre. Measuring seven metres in diameter, this awe inspiring artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet in large scale, flating in three dimensions. Gaia encourages an understanding of the interconnectedness of life and our responsibility for taking care of the environment and each other.
