The major arts and music festival is part of the Becontree Forever programme which celebrates the centenary of the biggest housing estate in the UK, Becontree. The focus of the festival is to promote unity through the power of music and tell the story of the estate both past, present and future; in collaboration with Love Music Hate Racism and local cultural partners in the borough. The family event included several attractions, from music and dance to rides and exhibitions; headlining the festival, English punk and folk singer-songwriter Frank Turner.
